Convention in Long Beach, CA. Authorized by Joan Crawfords family, Robert Tonners Joan Crawford doll was sculpted in the likeness of the actress and captures her regal beauty. Comes dressed in her belted jacket, sleeveless. Black gown, and hose; rhinestone post earrings and shoes were never removed from packaging and are included in box. No odors, stains, or chips, original hairstyle in place with hair net. To inspect the doll for sale, I removed her clothing to check for stains and flaws. I discovered a tear in one jacket sleeve, where the upper poufy part separated from the lower sleeve. I stitched the pieces together to prevent further fraying, but you should know that the jacket fabric is thin, and I wouldnt be surprised to find similar flaws even in MIB dolls. One of the dolls shoulders has a minor flaw (not a chip, but a visible small area where the shoulder joint is thin, a common problem with some Tonner bodies). See closeup of shoulder in this listing.
