This is Tonner’s 16″ Tyler Wentworth doll, the flagship 16″ doll which ran until Tonner closed in 2018. Tonner was known for designing high quality vinyl dolls, with a painstaking eye for detail. She set the standard for other 16 fashion dolls, with articulated elbows and knees and a wardrobe full of luxury fabrics such as silk, linen and cashmere. Other 16 doll outfits such as those by the Franklin Mint, All About Eve, or Madame Alexander’s Alex should also fit her body sculpt. This is the “Framboise Robe du Grande Soire” doll, released in 2000 as a limited edition of 3000 pieces. It features Tyler in a beautiful beaded and embroidered pink ball gown, with a delicate matching cap for her hair. The pictures of her in her box were taken in artificial light, so please see the others for a better idea of the color. All pictures are of the actual item that you will be receiving, even the ones with her out of her box. She’s a very photogenic doll and I had fun taking pictures of her before I put her away.
