RTW Ready To Wear SPORT -WHEAT BLONDE NRFB. New, never removed from tube Other than her hair -for potential buyers to see actual pictures of her wild crazy curls – Produced 2003. 16 fashion doll from Robert Tonner’s 2003 Tyler Wentworth collection. Ready to Wear Sport is a doll from the Tyler Wentworth line. The doll was produced by Tonner in 2003. The doll features Tyler Wentworth head, Tyler Original/BA body, Tan skintone. The doll has painted eyes of blue color, rooted hair of wheat blond color, articulated at the elbow arms. Articulated at the knee legs, high heel feet. RTW Tyler SPORT was tracked down (hard to find a doll store who had not sole out) she has been removed by me from her plastic tube so I could check her hair that was kept inside plastic attached to backing and take accurate pictures of her actual hair. She will come in her original tube, clean shipper with her stand just as pictured. Some of the elastics holding the RTW dolls in the tube have loosened due to age. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. I DESCRIBE ACCURATELY -PICTURES ARE PART OF MY DESCRIPTION. This ITEM was stored in a professional storage facility -undisturbed until now. No sun damage -no odors -smoke mildew or otherwise -no pets. In the event I agree to a return. As the item has left my controlled environment and cannot be listed as such and therefore. This is Tonner’s 16″ Tyler Wentworth doll, the flagship 16″ doll which ran until Tonner closed in 2018. Tonner was known for designing high quality vinyl dolls, with a painstaking eye for detail. She set the standard for other 16 fashion dolls, with articulated elbows and knees and a wardrobe full of luxury fabrics such as silk, linen and cashmere. Other 16 doll outfits such as those by the Franklin Mint, All About Eve, or Madame Alexander’s Alex should also fit her body sculpt. This is the “Ensemble Sport” doll, released in 2003 as a limited edition of 3000 pieces. It’s a part of the Theatre de La Mode line and features Tyler in an equestrian inspired seafoam sport coat and white slacks. It includes a matching vest and shoes, white button down shirt, and a fabulous feathered hat.

This is Esme in the “Urban Sport” outfit, released in 2002 as a limited edition of 500 pieces. It features Esme in a silver down winter coat and vest, with white boots, top and leggings. Also accessorized by a slick pair of shades. All pictures are of the actual item that you will be receiving, even the ones with her out of her box. She’s a very photogenic doll and I had fun taking pictures of her before I put her away.

Tonner Tyler Wentworth Theatre de la Mode “Ensemble Sport” 16 doll NRFB. Robert Tonner 2003 TM1301 LE 3000. The doll has green eyes, sable hair and bendable arms. She wears a tailored suit of cream pants topped by a green sage jacket with matching waistcoat over a white blouse and cream slacks. Accessories include matching hat trimmed with net and feathers, green sling back wedge shoes, and hairnet. Wrist tag, stand and original mailer are included. There is a slight scratch on the top of the box lid where the shipper was opened. Theatre de la Mode was a collection of 27 mannequins dressed by French couturiers following World War II to promote their industry following the war. The originals collection is housed at the Maryhill Museum of Art in Goldendale, Washington. Robert Tonner has meticulously reproduced the original costumes for his Tyler Wentworth doll line.
