From my treasured Tonner Doll collection is Awards Night Joan Crawford, a 16-inch vinyl/hard plastic fashion doll presented at the 2009 Sandra Stillwell Presents Hollywood Ahoy! Convention in Long Beach, CA. Authorized by Joan Crawfords family, Robert Tonners Joan Crawford doll was sculpted in the likeness of the actress and captures her regal beauty. Awards Night Joan Crawford details. Limited to a small edition of 150. Doll was taken out of her box to admire, but was never displayed or redressed. Stored in a doll closet in smoke-free home. Comes dressed in her belted jacket, sleeveless. Black gown, and hose; rhinestone post earrings and shoes were never removed from packaging and are included in box. Comes with her stand. & Certificate of Authenticity in her original box (which has shelf wear). Awards Night Joan Crawford additional information. No odors, stains, or chips, original hairstyle in place with hair net. To inspect the doll for sale, I removed her clothing to check for stains and flaws. I discovered a tear in one jacket sleeve, where the upper poufy part separated from the lower sleeve. I stitched the pieces together to prevent further fraying, but you should know that the jacket fabric is thin, and I wouldnt be surprised to find similar flaws even in MIB dolls. See sleeve pictures included in this listing. One of the dolls shoulders has a minor flaw (not a chip, but a visible small area where the shoulder joint is thin, a common problem with some Tonner bodies). See closeup of shoulder in this listing. Awards Night Joan Crawford will come packed in her original blue box inside a used shipper box and wrapped in brown paper.
