Masquerade Prince was produced exclusively for the Tonner Fashion Fantasy Convention held in Orlando, Florida, in 2007. The Prince was the companion doll for the Masquerade Ball Cinderella doll. Masquerade Prince has been in my private collection since the 2007 Convention and is NRFB. He has been in his box since then in my dedicated climate-controlled doll room in my non-smoking home. Prince is dressed in a regal velvety purple suit adorned with gold braid, gold lace and gold buttons down the front of the jacket which is partly lined with red. The jacket’s collar is of metallic gold lace. He looks jaunty when he wears his purple cape lined in red. The cape is in the plastic bag. The Prince wears purple socks with his to-the-knee trousers. A gold mask is attached to the bottom edge of the box but is not visible in the picture as it is still encased in bubble wrap and a plastic bag! The Prince has long auburn hair styled in a ponytail held with gold ribbon at the back of the head. His eyebrows are painted a complementary color. His eyes are painted gray-blue with painted eyelashes and his lips are a pale peach color. All my pictures were taken in bright daylight without the use of a flash. An attention getting purple hat decorated with purple marabou feathers and red is attached to the box next to his head. The Prince wears gold shoes to coordinate with his gold belt and all the gold in his masquerade suit. Masquerade Prince includes his Certificate of Authenticity. He was produced in an edition of only 300 dolls. His box is correctly labeled with his name and Tonner number. Masquerade Prince has his correct Cinderella Collection pink box and correct white Tonner shipper. Here is that pesky but necessary fine print…… ?
