Check out this fantastic and high quality doll. This doll came from a collection I recently acquired. The doll was taken out of the box but never fully assembled and the accessory pack with the necklace and sunglasses are still taped in the box and unopened. I did not originally unwrap this doll but I will put this back in the packaging as best I can. This doll was never played with by a child and was also not displayed. I do not see any dust inside the box. I did wipe off the outside of the box because it had been in a closet for several years. Feel free to reach out with any questions you might have. This is Tonner’s 16″ Tyler Wentworth doll, the flagship 16″ doll which ran until Tonner closed in 2018. Tonner was known for designing high quality vinyl dolls, with a painstaking eye for detail. She set the standard for other 16 fashion dolls, with articulated elbows and knees and a wardrobe full of luxury fabrics such as silk, linen and cashmere. Other 16 doll outfits such as those by the Franklin Mint, All About Eve, or Madame Alexander’s Alex should also fit her body sculpt. This is the “Party of the Season” doll, released in 1999 as a limited edition of 2500 pieces. It features Tyler in a striped spring green formal ensemble with gold lace overlay and trim. It’s accessorized by a rhinestone brooch and necklace, and strappy gold heels. I don’t believe she has ever been displayed. The doll’s hair is well styled and her clothing shows no signs of fading or damage. All pieces appear to be present. The box has some cosmetic damage to the surface from storage but is otherwise sturdy and in decent shape. Paper elements may have some discoloration. Some artificial materials or elastics might have degraded over time but were not tested.
