This is Tonner’s 16″ Tyler Wentworth doll, the flagship 16″ doll which ran until Tonner closed in 2018. Tonner was known for designing high quality vinyl dolls, with a painstaking eye for detail. She set the standard for other 16 fashion dolls, with articulated elbows and knees and a wardrobe full of luxury fabrics such as silk, linen and cashmere. Other 16 doll outfits such as those by the Franklin Mint, All About Eve, or Madame Alexander’s Alex should also fit her body sculpt. This is the “Pink Champagne” doll, released in 2002 as a limited edition of 2000 pieces. It features Tyler in a soft pink formal ensemble with a sparkly pink drape neck top and a long silk charmeuse mermaid skirt with matching heels.
