2006 Tonner 16 Tyler Wentworth as Les Etoiles Emilie Ballerina Doll – LE 150 NRFB. This stunning 16 articulated doll is Tyler Wentworth as Les Etoiles Emilie (The Stars Emilie), the first en pointe ballerina created by Tonner Doll Company. Emilie was produced in a limited edition of only 150 dolls exclusively for the Modern Doll Collectors Convention held at the Stardust Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada in September 2006. The Stardust closed its doors for good two months later. Emilie has blue eyes, and light blonde hair swept up in a ballerina’s bun. She is wearing a silver embroidered lavender tutu made of satin, chiffon, and tulle; with matching ballet slippers and tights. She comes with a rhinestone tiara and earrings, stand, hang tag, Certificate of Authenticity, and original inner and shipper boxes. She can wear most Tyler Wentworth, Alice in Wonderland, Wizard of Oz, and Brenda Starr 16 doll clothing – but not the shoes. The first and last photos are from the Tonner Doll Company which closed its doors on 12/31/2018. Emilie’s dancing partner, Sean, is not included in this listing. Emilie had never been untied from her box until now when I checked her lower back to see if it was signed by Robert Tonner, which it wasn’t. Her jewelry and COA are still in their bags stapled to the box. She attended numerous doll conventions, reviewed and wrote articles about dolls, and served on the board of Modern Doll Collectors.
