Tonner was known for designing high quality vinyl dolls, with a painstaking eye for detail, until Tonner closed in 2018. Their flagship doll Tyler set the standard for other 16 fashion dolls, with articulated elbows and knees and a wardrobe full of luxury fabrics such as silk, linen and cashmere. The Tyler series included other characters such as Mei, Sydney and Esme, and they all share the same body. Other 16 doll outfits such as those by the Franklin Mint, All About Eve, or Madame Alexander’s Alex should also fit her body sculpt. This is Esme in the “Urban Sport” outfit, released in 2002 as a limited edition of 500 pieces. It features Esme in a silver down winter coat and vest, with white boots, top and leggings.
